The Warmhearted Ice Magician
Salla Richido is one of the younger members of Asparada earlier on. Salla is the daughter of a simple illusionist and a witch who specialized in ice magic. She inherited that knack for ice, but unlike her mother, she evolved her powers past incantations and the like. Despite her great potential with her magic over ice, it took a lot of time to mold them into the powerhouse weapon they have become. It began with simple lessons prior to discovering her tie to Asparada, but afterward she took up lessons under the fire-using Iteza Doragon and Katora Lei. Her involvement in the Fire Demon Wars sped up her rate of learning. She especially benefited from the teachings of the whitelighter witch from the future, Petergof Halliwell. She came to develop a close brotherly relationship with him that at one point seemed destined to evolve further, but it never did.
Salla currently is one of the few active members of Asparada still remaining. She's become distances from those she was once close to, as most have gone their separate ways and she and Petergof have had differences of opinion. She is currently trying to keep up with Asparada's callings, but the separation combined with the various missions has begun to effect her deeply.
December 7th, 2007 - "It was nice of Iteza to get us these journals. They are quite handsome, covered completely in leather and sewn together with a sturdy black cord. It was really a good idea. After all our little band has been through in this past year, it is very smart for each of us to keep a journal to keep what happens with each of us straight. As it is, I may as well update on where I've been all this time.
I've been in solitary travels, meditating and doing some research and soul-searching. I've changed my appearance drastically, and I think I've grown quite a bit. I still suffer from memory problems, but I have my magic controlled now. Should ever another situation like the Fire Demon War ever arise again, I will be more prepared than before."
January 25th, 2007 - "Andy has died. It's... heart-breaking... shattering... I don't know how I'll focus on the threat of the Dark Society. I'm just... numbed..."
January 27th, 2007 - "With the surprising help of a friend, I've come to terms with Andy's passing, and now that I have, I've noticed something: Andraea seems to disappear frequently... It is very suspicious... Also, Petergof and Star have broken up. I thought I would be happy when it finally happened but... Petergof is such a mess, I feel sorry for him."
